Hawks Phan is back from that teaser a few weeks ago with the full length version of his "Push for the Playoffs" mix. This time he went with a more mellow pace and a rock soundtrack.

It's the end of the week so it's time to take a look back at the week in news here at the NLSC. This week I added a Wishlist Survey to our NBA Elite initiatives, while still collecting suggestions for our NBA Elite 12 Wishlist and signatures for our PC Petition. On the NBA 2K11 front, Lean released a fix for alternates jerseys in JUMP 2K11, a new version of REDitor II was released and MessenjahMatt put up a new Michael Jordan video. Read on for full details about those stories and more, as well as a listing of this week's file additions.

According to Kevin Harlan on the Damon Bruce radio show yesterday, Steve Kerr will be replacing Clark Kellogg in NBA 2K12.

A couple of days ago, Vl@d Zola Jr. released a new version (v1.2) of REDitor II for NBA 2K11. Following a couple of bug reports, he has released a hot fix that will correct an assortment of issues with the latest version of the editor. Download the re-release here in the NLSC Forum.

EA Sports have posted a notice on the official NBA Jam Facebook page in response to questions about the possibility of title and roster updates for the game.
There have been a lot of questions about a title or roster update and we wanted to tackle this head on. Our priority for JAM on the XBOX 360 and PS3 was to deliver HD graphics and online play to round out the great gameplay that defines the franchise. For us to also include roster and title update possibilities, we would have sacrificed quality in those key areas and thus made the difficult decision not to include them.
It should be noted that roster updates were never confirmed for NBA Jam either before or after the game's release, though EA Sports were soliciting feedback on various online and gameplay issues shortly after the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions came out. Feel free to add your thoughts in this thread.

Suggestions for our NBA Elite 12 Wishlist are also still welcome. We're also collecting suggestions and opinions to submit along with the Wishlist through our Wishlist Survey. I've been keeping up with the transactions and jersey number changes this past week and with the Arroyo to Boston signing likely to be made official tomorrow, the rosters are almost ready for release. Until then, I'll be double checking some ratings, fixing some headshapes for the 2005 roster (please see this guide if you're interested in doing that yourself), seeing if I can fulfill a few requests for extras in the NBA Live PC Project for 06 and if they're finished in time, including the 2011 All-Star jerseys and court. As of this post,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I have 2011 All-Star jerseys in place for the 07 and 08 updates but am still waiting on a court update and a conversion of the jerseys for 2005 and 06.
I'd like to thank everyone once again for your patience and understanding in waiting for the new rosters. I would've liked to have released the post deadline update a little sooner than this but I want to put an accurate update out there and with the time it takes to upload repackaged versions of the rosters these days, I'd prefer to get everything right and as up to date as possible before uploading as it means much less hassle for everyone.

Our NBA Elite PC Petition will remain open a little while longer, so if you haven't signed it yet we certainly invite you to do so. We can't guarantee success with the petition but it will be sent in through the appropriate channels and we'd like to do everything we can to show our support for basketball gaming on the PC platform, so your support is very much appreciated.
We'll also be sending in our NBA Elite 12 Wishlist very soon but in the meantime we're still collecting wishes, so please get them in as soon as possible. I'd also like to thank everyone for their responses to the Wishlist Survey so far, I've seen some great feedback in the answers and I feel the results will be very useful and informative for the Dev Team to have along with our traditional Wishlist. Please keep them coming!

I am proud to announce that Baseball110 and I have released the second Beta version of the ongoing NCAA 2K11 Mod.
This updated version has 60 teams spread over two different roster files, accuratish courts for each team, and accurate home, away, and alternate jerseys for each team thanks to baseball110 and Bassman58. Even though the mod size has doubled in content, it still does NOT overwrite ANY NBA files in your installation!
